Contract which is not enforced between two parties but it is imposed by law

It is a contract which is imposed by law neither party e.g promisee or promisor or offeree or offerer had imposed e.g if B made promise to A to supply goods but the carrier mistakenly supply goods to C, C has a responsibility which is implied responsibilty to deliver goods to A. And goods are to be preserved or taken care of as an man of an ordinary prudence would do( means goods are to be taken care as our goods or in short taken good care) and hence it is quasi contract bcoz c had neither made an agreement to sell nor to buy goods so it is recoginize as implied authority maybe and the example i have given is of finder of loss goods i hope it make sense
