How to write a precis writing ? Any tips and tricks

You have to write the precis as short as possible. More the shorter, more the marks. But there should be complete meaning and you should not leave any important points. The length shall be 1/4th of the passage.

It's bit difficult to use formal English but yea .. it's even easy to u just understand it and take the most important point against that .. make a paragraph
