The question asks specifically to "examine the legal validity of Rohit’s contention" which is only an ATS due to unpaid price. Section 55 talks abt Mohan's remedies after the breach, which is not asked in the question so it cannot be used. you have to use section 4 and maybe section 20 also

Sec 55 would have been used if it was asked in the que to state the legal remedy available to Mr Mohan but since the que talks about the validity of Rohit's contention, Sec 4 is more appropriate
