No partnership is created because Y is only receiving a share of profits as consideration for writing the book, and there is no mutual agency between X and Y.So,there is no partnership exists between them.Under partnership law: A partnership exists only when business is carried on by all or any of them acting for all (mutual agency).Sharing of profit alone does NOT create a partnership.
