It's depends upon your concept clarity it's retention and writing practice but before appearing for exams atleast 2 revision is required. If you are able to complete your lectures by oct end still I think you should attempt group 1 for Jan 26 as 2 months are enough for preparing 3 subjects and attempt group 2 in May 26. Well it's upto you again .

In my opinion u should solely focus on group one because it's not practical to complete and practice group 2 together with practice of group 1, this may result into failure in both groups

You can definitely prepare for both groups but you have to pace up with your efforts if you complete group 2 course by October end or November 1st week which is more than enough for group 2 then by having extensive revision you can definitely appear for both or if at the point of revision you feel that it is becoming harder for you to revise then you should appear for group 1 only but as of now i would suggest you to prepare for both groups Also after completing the first revision you can purchase a test series which would definitely help you boost your confidence
