Vo to muje smjh agya lekin jab debentures ko dr krre hai 2nd entry me tab kyu 210000 le rhe hai tab to 200000 hi lene chaiye na if i am not wrong

Kyuki premium hmesha alg hota hai means jese tumne likha 200000+5% premium=210000 , so ismai 100% 200000 hai and 5%10000 hai (200000*105% is 210000) so borrowing deb is at 100% and additional is your premium which is not actually borrowing therefore 5% of 200000(additional) will be cr to security premium .the 2nd transaction which you have done in which dr. Is correct but cr is wrong . Hence u dr old co deb with 2.1 and cr new deb with 2.0 and security premium with 0.1 .

Appne read krne me thodi c problem krdi. Look, unho ne bola kii wye ke 2000 deb. Hai (face value 100) or vo 105 pe issu ho rhe hai {read last line} so for this reason 2000 deb of 100 each issued at 105 . That extra 5₹ is premium .... So the entry should be like... Deb of old co dr 200000. (2000×100) Securities premium 1000(5×2000) to 7% deb 210000

Bcuz the premium is 5 rupees on 1 debenture and total no. of debentures is 2000 (200000÷100), so securities premium will be 2000×5 = 10000

Because 200000 is the face value and premium is 10000 ( i.e 5 percent of 200000)
