In order to ensure whether they should accept or continue the audit engagement ,team should comply with the ethical requirements which include prof competence. But here in this case the partner having that expertise left the firm and there is no other partner having experience in that particular sector( yet to recruit). Therefore firm can't ensure the quality of the engagement .Thus SA 220 is highlighted here
