All contracts are agreements because there must be an offer and its acceptance by the parties. However, all agreements are not contracts because an agreement becomes a contract only when it is enforceable by law as per Section 2(h) of the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Social or moral agreements are not contracts as they lack legal enforceability.
