    Let original prices of two houses are 16x and 23x Then according to the question We can take it as 16x + 10/100 ×16x whole divided by 23x + 477 = 11/20 After solving we get x=53 Then original prices of houses are 16x = 16×53 = 848 23x = 23×53 = 1219
