Ishita how can you deduct basic exemption limit from tax liability...it is to be deducted frome income not from tax and why didn't you apply rebate since income is less than 7 lakh(not available on LTCG 112A) and exemption of 1.25L on LTCG 112A therefore we have to pay tax on LTCG 112a only which is 25000 which comes out to 3125 + 4% cess = 3250
