For eg: When a A represents himself as a partner of the firm (but not a partner of the firm in reality) infront of B but B didn't denies it or when B who is a partner of the firm represents a A as a partner of the firm(when he is not a partner) and A didn't denies tht .....Thn A will become partner by holding out or by estoppel. Definition: When a person represent himself or knowing allows himself to be represented as a partner in a firm when in fact he is not then he is called partner by holding out or estoppel and he will be liable like other partners in the firm
