The cost of printing 100 copies of book is rs.1000 and cost of printing 200 copies is rs.1800. If cost is linear function of quantity, find the cost of printing 300 copies.

Let the fixed cost - y Let the variable cost per unit - x 100x + y = 1000 200x + y = 1800 By solving x = 8 rs Y = 200 rs Therefore cost of 300 books = 300x + Y = 2600
