It's answer is (b) 44 lacs . Computation is given as follows : Commercial flat of 25 lacs + plot of land worth 19 lacs . U/s 56(2)(x) watch is not considered as IMP and gift of 7 lacs from grandmother is exempt u/s 56(2)(x) as gift from relative .
