Go by option Put 20% as interest to find out principal amount Then use the same principal to find out the amount recieved at 3 years 9 months i.e 36 months plus 9 months is 45 months divide by 12 is 3.75 Now cross check it you will get the answer 20%

1. Interest for the time period b/w 2 years and 3 years 9 months(21 months)(7875-6300=1575) Annual interest(in amount)= 1575/21*12= 900 Principal + 2(900) = 6300 6300-1800 = 4500 principal amount ROI = 900*100/4500 = 20%
