It's given that the president and vice President... Not only president ... So to arrange the president and vice president it is 2! And the remaining sits are 8-2=6, so it will be 6!, total will be 6! ✖️ 2!

Because we have to make arrangements for 8 persons out of 8 the two places one for vice president and one for president is reserved that means they are arranged in ²p2 that means 2! And other 6 in ⁶p6 means 6!
