I think you should give both groups because you have now almost or at least covered 50 % of the syllabus. So your chances to clear both groups or to get exemptions increases. Give your best in revising the concept and writing the paper. I am also not sure about my results. So I am doing the same. First complete your syllabus with revising the completed topics.
