Discount ac Dr. 100 ... To cash ac 100......... Dr the discount account which is not debited and credit the cash account which is excess debited earlier by 100

No, actually in solution given that substracte 100.

Less rs 100 .. as the discount amount was also include in cashbook . So remove the discount given
