If we want to appear only for CA Final grp 1 then do we need to clear costing paper also or only law is sufficient

We have to clear both the papers..I confirmed this by calling the ICAI branch Chennai

There is no such notification issued by the Institute. So, it is recommended to clear both the subjects.
