Hey Peeps! I just want you all to answer a rather dumb question of mine. Is it really necessary/obligatory/mandatory to remember and write the section number in the exams (CA Inter Corporate Law)? If not, then kindly help me with the presentation as well.

It's not mandatory and instruction which are given to examiner states that no marks will be alloted for mentioning sec number . You can present your ans in the following format - 1.provision 2.fact of the case 3.analysis 4.conclusion

Writing Scetion numbers and highlighting it by underlying it creates a positive mindset about you in from of the person checking it. He believes that the student has clarity of thoughts and provides an edge over other students. Disclaimer: write section number only if you are 100% confident that it is correct. Writing incorrect section number may lead to adverse circumstances.

If you are very sure of the section number you can present it but it's not mandatory for you to write them.But if you write a wrong section number then they are going to cut your marks for that.So it's advisable to notto write them unless you are 100% sure of it.

Writing section number is not mandatory in exams but I do admit it creates a good impression if you quote section number. So first try focusing on the provisions first and then try remembering section numbers. Quote section number only and only if you are confident as quoting wrong section number creates a wrong impression
