When ur total income exceeds of ₹50L then it has to applied. If ur income is ₹50l to 1cr then 10%, 1cr to 2cr then 15%, 2cr to 5cr then 25% and above 5cr it will be charged 37%

Surcharge is applicable when Total Income exceeds ₹50Lakhs, In detail, 50L to 1cr - 10%, 1cr to 2cr - 15%, 2cr - 5cr - 25%, >5cr - 37%
